The shield is more than a Dayak warrior’s weapon of self deference against all weapons of enemies, it is an instrument that symbolizes the unity, strength, struggles and hopes of the Dayak Community and depicts their culture and their day to day life . As the shield is broken, it is useless weapon of any kind instead it represents a broken dream. In its cover design it is an illustration of a lose, shattered organisation. In this book also brought the highlight the miseries -poverty, injustices, mistreatment, inequality, suppression and oppression faced the Dayaks as well as the continued infighting and unabated bickering among the Dayaks which lead to crisis after crisis in the political field.
